This policy explains what ImageToVideoPrompt.org processes when you use our free prompt tools, prompt examples, and Image Description Generator.
Data handled by each tool
Prompt Generator and prompt library
The main Image-to-Video Prompt Generator runs in your browser. The subject, motion, camera, lighting, style, and negative-prompt text you enter there is combined locally and is not sent to an AI provider by that tool. Copying a prompt uses your browser's clipboard feature.
Image Description Generator
If you choose an image for description, your browser first decodes it, removes embedded metadata by re-encoding it, and limits its dimensions and file size. When you select Generate description, that processed image is sent to our server and forwarded inline to OpenRouter, our AI processing gateway, for the current request.
We do not save the uploaded image or generated description in our application database or object storage. OpenRouter and the model provider process the request under their own terms and privacy practices. Do not upload images you do not have permission to use or images containing information you do not want processed by an external AI service.
Anonymous usage limits
To limit automated abuse and control service cost, the Image Description Generator maintains daily anonymous counters in Neon PostgreSQL. Before an AI request, the server derives a one-way HMAC identifier from the requesting IP address. We store the derived identifier—not the original IP—along with the UTC date, tool name, counter type, attempt count, and update time. These counters stop being relevant after their daily limit window, although database backups may retain records for a limited operational period.
Analytics and operational data
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand site usage through page views, interactions, heatmaps, and masked session recordings. Clarity may process browser and device details, approximate location, navigation, clicks, scrolling, and cookies or similar identifiers. Sensitive form values are not intentionally included in our analytics events. Learn more from the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Microsoft Clarity documentation.
Our hosting and security providers may also process request metadata such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser information, response status, and diagnostic data to deliver and protect the site. Server-side Image Description logs may include a random request ID, outcome, latency, mode, processed byte counts, provider status category, token counts, and returned cost. They are designed not to contain image bytes or generated descriptions.
Cookies and browser storage
Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics. The site may use limited browser storage for interface preferences and campaign attribution. You can restrict cookies through your browser, although some preferences may not be remembered.
Sharing and third-party links
We do not sell personal information. Data is disclosed only to service providers needed to operate the features described above, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the service and its users. Links to third-party tools—including PhotoToVideoAI—take you to services governed by their own policies.
Data choices and requests
You can use the prompt library and browser-only Prompt Generator without an account. You can avoid AI image processing by not using the Image Description Generator, and you can manage analytics cookies through browser controls. Because the daily quota identifier is one-way and we do not operate public user accounts, we generally cannot connect it back to a named person.
For a privacy question or request, email support@imagetovideoprompt.org. We may need enough information to understand and lawfully respond to your request, but do not email sensitive images, prompts, passwords, or API keys.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the product or its service providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
